Frequently asked questions
01Does Stratu Cam work without the cloud?
Yes. In free mode you stream straight to your own RTMP, RTMPS or SRT server. A free account is required to save your settings and destinations.
02How does bonding work?
The app splits the signal across Wi‑Fi, mobile data and USB tethering at the same time (SRTLA). To combine networks, the destination must accept SRTLA — the Stratu cloud does natively.
03Is caption translation paid?
No. Translation runs on the phone itself, at no cost. The first time, the app downloads the language pack (by default, over Wi‑Fi only).
04Is there an iPhone version?
The iPhone version is coming soon. For now Stratu Cam is on Android, and the same account will work on both.
